Don't Be Scared to Try It

I subscribe to the YouTuber LOOK MOM NO COMPUTER, a musician who built an organ out of Furbys (Furbees?) amongst a lot of other things.

He always ends his videos with the words "don't be scared to try it", and it's a phrase that I'm happy lives in my head rent-free. I choose to interpret the words as encouragement to try things out, even if it scares you or you think it might not lead to anything.

Like this small blog of mine. It took a lot of time before I got the self-confidence to publish it, but finally I thought "what's the worst that can happen" and here we are.

This is something that I've been thinking about a lot lately and I felt I had to get it out of my head and into words.
